Specialized Consultative Services (SCS)

  • Behavior Support

Ralph Scott Lifeservices is contracted to provide behavior support services for individuals on the Innovations Waiver with a diagnosis of autism or intellectual disabilities. In addition to providing this service for individuals who reside in our residential group homes, Ralph Scott Lifeservices can also provide Specialized Consultative Services for adults 18 and older who reside in their private home or in a group home that is administered by another local agency.

  • Making a Referral

Providing behavior support through Specialized Consultative Services (SCS) consists of services provided by a psychologist and behavior specialists. If an identified individual is on the Innovations Waiver and has behavioral needs, a referral may be made to Ralph Scott Lifeservices.

Once it is determined that the individual meets the criteria and SCS has been authorized for the individual, services will consist of observations, behavior plan development, training of the plan, monthly behavior plan data collection, monitoring of plan implementation, and any needed behavior plan revisions.

Referrals may be made by contacting the Psychology Department:
